FEATURED PROJECT

Coconut & Palm

This home was truly one of those “trust the process” projects.

Originally built in 1948 and remodeled and added onto more times than we could count, the home had become tired, dated, compartmentalized and disconnected from the way our family-focused clients wanted to live.

We completely reimagined the home, thoughtfully reconfiguring the existing footprint while extending the second story to create the space, functionality, and flow our clients needed for this next chapter of their family’s life.

"Katelyn Gilmour and her design firm, KBG Design, are one of our favorite designers to work with.

We are a General Contractor and having a great design team is the foundation to the success of our jobs.

Katelyn has a very clear idea and vision for her projects. Her plans are always beautiful, creative and precise. She has great design documents which has everything spec’d out ahead of time so there are no design surprises deep into the project. She is easy to get a hold of, communicate and collaborate with.

And above all, her designs are out of this world amazing. Her use of color, texture, composition and scale is next level and we are always in awe. We feel very privileged to be able to work with her and her team to bring her designs to life. We always look forward to our next Project with KBG!"
